Any needed supplements are designed to be taken either with food or on an empty stomach. Know which ones are taken which way.
Those designed to be taken with food, can be taken with any other with-food supplements.
Those designed to be taken on an empty stomach should be taken by themselves, unless instructed differently.
Those taken on an empty stomach should be taken in a half dose for the first dose. Split the pill, half the drops, empty half the capsule. Introducing a substance in the body gently is best.
Supplement reactions are rare. But things to look out for when trying a new supplement: Rapid heart beat, feeling flushed, dizziness, strong anxiety, nausea, plus anything that just doesn't seem right. This is your body's way of telling you that it may not want that substance.
Finish all supplements in bottle, continue current diet, and maintain lifestyle changes unless instructed to stop.
Relax. This is always the toughest for many people. This program works much quicker if your body is allowed to do its job. Stress slows hormonal production, weakens the immune system, constricts blood vessels not allowing nutrients to get where they need to go, plus so much more.
Make sure you find time for you. Take a walk, read a book, get a massage, go to a yoga class, exercise in your basement, anything!
Volunteer: I urge you to give something of yourself, at least one time during this process, without financial benefit. This is more powerful in the healing process than you can possibly imagine. Volunteer at school, help at a homeless shelter, call a local hospital and ask what can be done, call an animal shelter and walk dogs, online look up various one day volunteer services. After you volunteer, tell as few people as possible. It's not a show, its an experience, its also very healing.
